Who will I help?

Do you feel an artwork can sometimes express more than words?

Arts for All helps vulnerable people to express themselves and build confidence through arts and craft classes. The Rainbow Arts Club offers a safe and welcoming environment for adults with learning disabilities and empowers them to overcome social isolation and low self esteem.

How will I help?

Each session is guided by a tutor and activities range from painting to 3D modelling and jewelry making.
As a volunteer, you're likely to find yourself supporting the group by:

• Assisting the art tutor in providing guidance to the group members
• Setting up the room and replenishing materials
• Offering a friendly face and a chat with the members of the group

This is a wonderful opportunity to get creative and help the participants express themselves and grow confident about their skills!

It was a great day, the facilities are fantastic and the regular attendees there were a delight and really seemed to enjoy and value the experience and the company/interaction. The skills they have developed have enabled them to create some incredible works of art, showing the value of such facilities not only as a social and supportive environment but from a commercial perspective as some of the art work was for sale, thereby raising more funds for the organisation.
The whole experience was very enjoyable and in a relaxed environment, I would gladly go back again anytime.
