Socialise with older people in this charming fairytale mansion in Lewisham
Who will I help?
How do you hope to spend your days when you've reached sixty?
SENIORS offers older people a space to learn new things, stay healthy and active, meet friends and make new ones. From line dancing classes to a healthy living group, there's something for everyone at the charity's romantic white mansion. Most importantly, the day centre offers structure and prevents social isolation for older people in the local community.
How will I help?
Volunteering at SENIORS means getting social and sharing stories with the people you meet. You will help out with a wide range of activities, which on Mondays includes a Healthy Living Club.
You'll get involved by:
• Engaging people in the classes and activities and offering help whenever necessary
• Assisting with registration for the classes
• Helping out in the community cafe
You'll get to be part of the Seniors family for a day and will make an important contribution for the visitors of the day centre.
