Employee volunteering survival guide

Employee Volunteering Survival Guide

In 2015 David Cameron famously pledged to provide all workers with 3 days volunteering leave a year.

Many of the businesses we work with were concerned about how they’d deal with organising volunteering on that scale if the legislation had come into place, so we published a handy 10 step survival guide which, despite the fact that Big Dave went the same way as the policy, is still a handy tool for anyone wanting to start a volunteering programme.

The guide covers everything you need to create a really successful volunteering scheme, including:

  • How to create a volunteering policy
  • Tips to get your employees engaged
  • Maximising community impact
  • Measuring your results

It’s a jungle out there in the world of professional volunteering, so, as the Boy Scouts wisely said, always be prepared!
