I had a really great experience at Barnado’s Brixton charity shop, the staff were really friendly and welcoming and I felt that I really made a difference. I would recommend this to friends/colleagues and I am hoping to go back again next year !

I very much enjoyed the opportunity and the day went by very fast. I felt there was so much more work to be done and we only scratched the surface, but I do hope our work helped in some ways. I’m hoping to do some more volunteering work in the near future – it’s such a great opportunity.

A very enjoyable day working with Barnardo’s in Brixton. Lots of work to be done on an ongoing basis, and even though what we achieved on one day barely scratched the surface, it was obvious how grateful the team are for all the volunteers and the work that they do. It’s nice to feel that you are making a difference.
