Who will I help?
We all appreciate London's parks and green spaces, especially the small hidden ones that offer so much to local communities. They are a place to walk the dog, take a toddler or simply sit and listen to birdsong. They also provide an essential home for thousands of species of animal and plantlife which would otherwise struggle to survive in the capital. Maintaining these much-loved outdoor areas often falls onto groups of volunteers who are willing to take on the responsibility but sometimes need additional support.
How will I help?
Your team will help a local charity maintain one of these beautiful spaces, while getting the opportunity to be out of the office together and in the fresh air.
You could find yourselves clearing brambles and nettles, moving tree fall or building a new path. The work will be physically challenging so not for the fainthearted, but will offer the satisfaction of a job well done.
